Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer

ROLE SUMMARY A statewide human-services system support team seeks a senior Natural/ADABAS developer to support, enhance, and maintain a large case-management platform. Work includes integrating with systems on other platforms using current technologies and automating existing processes. REQUIRED SKILLS 10 years programming in Natural with ADABAS, including batch processing via JCL and/or SCL, and online processing 2 years analysis, design, and programming of large/complex development projects on large-scale Linux systems 4 years experience with automated child-support systems 3 years providing subject-matter expertise on system architectures 3 years each: recommending system/process enhancements; developing and maintaining procedure/policy documentation; training end users on software 2 years knowledge of child-support policies, procedures, and state/federal mandates (or comparable statewide system) 2 years interpreting, designing, and implementing federal/state mandates on Linux-based systems PREFERRED SKILLS Natural ONE (Software AG Designer) · Web services / APIs Scrum/iteration methodologies · Jira Strong written/verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; able to work independently and across multiple projects Experience modernizing legacy technologies Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour Work Location: In person
