We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team! The purpose of this position is to prepare design standards, specifications, and criteria for our production of UV equipment used in the water purification industry. This role applies knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles for technician functions including conducting, maintaining, and testing equipment. This includes providing support to all areas of manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Perform testing requirements and provide technical direction for equipment testing; troubleshoot as issues arise
Develop new and modified engineering designs or component specifications to meet production requirements
Utilize AutoCAD 3D Modeling, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Vault in developing component and assembly designs
Maintain engineering, production, and technical documentation
Prepare electrical and mechanical production drawings including wiring diagrams and schematics
Work effectively with team members to ensure design goals and delivery expectations are met
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures and regulations including functional specifications and global safety and regulatory standards
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field of study
Minimum 1-5 years of mechanical engineering design experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk products
Hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting of components and equipment
Knowledge of manufacturing processes of stainless steel material for engineering design
Experience with hydraulic and electromechanical products and stainless steel fabrication
Manufacturing experience in the semiconductor and/or electronics industry preferred
Experience testing functional operations of electrical units, PLC programming and technical writing experience for test procedures and documentation preferred
