Position: Dynamics 365 Developer Duration: 12 Months- with extension Location: Texas. (Hybrid) DESCRIPTION OF SERVICESTexas Education Agency requires the services of 1 Software Developer 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Education Agency.RoleDesign, develop, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions for TEA enterprise applications. The role requires strong hands-on experience across front-end customization, back-end development, and structured team-based development practices:Develop and customize Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse-based solutions.Build server-side components (plugins, integrations, APIs using C#/.NET)Implement client-side customizations (JavaScript, form scripting, PCF controls)Design and build data integrations (REST APIs, ETL, Dataflows)Manage solution lifecycle using Git-based source control and CI/CD processesTroubleshoot and resolve production issues with root cause analysisCollaborate in a multi-developer team environment with a shared codebaseProduce and maintain technical and deployment documentationII. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS7 years of experience Hands-on development with Dynamics 365 / Power Platform6 years of experience Building Model-Driven AppsDataverse (tables, relationships, security model)C# plugin development or server-side extensionsJavaScript customization in Dynamics 365 / Power AppsIntegration using REST APIsGit in a team-based environment, including Feature branching, Pull Requests, Merge/Conflict resolutionWorking in a multi-developer environment with a shared codebaseDeveloping PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) controlsExperience with Power BI integration (reporting, embedding, data modelling)Experience with Power Pages development and configurationExperience with Power Platform Dataflows for ETL / data ingestionExperience working in government or public sector environments (TEA preferred)Microsoft Certifications: PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect)
