Depal Operator

Dupre' Logistics is currently seeking a Depal Operator for our office in New Orleans, LA to support our Site & Private Fleet Services business unit. Dupre' Logistics is a fast growth transportation & logistics provider that is adding to our organization in order to meet and exceed these goals: Provide safe service that's profitable Continue to profitably grow our business Be the employer of choice • Be a career destination rather than a stepping stone on your career path Night shift is available (12 hour shift; 4p-4a) Our Depal Operators work a 3 on - 4 off - 4 on - 3 off schedule (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday) Job Description The Depal Operator is an entry level position. Must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment; also be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have great communication skills. The main objective is the use of a mechanical winch to off load material from a trailer. Key Duties • Utilize an automated winch system to move trailer contents • Monitor trailer unloading • Compile data on unloaded trailers • Ensure completion of paperwork (i.e. required signatures) Job Qualifications • High School Diploma • Must have a high level of self motivation, customer service skills, excellent organizational skills • Must possess attention to detail • Mechanical skills We have an excellent compensation package: competitive salary, insurance, retirement, training, and opportunities for advancement.
