We are also proud to be 100% employee-owned, giving every team member a stake in our success.ERMCO is looking for a Payroll Coordinator that is responsible for assisting with all tasks associated with the processing and completion of payroll, all payroll reporting and payment functions. This position will support the Payroll Manager, HR, and Accounting with reporting, record maintenance, and employee inquiries. The Payroll Coordinator position reports to the Payroll Manager and is an in-office position.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of weekly payroll; Collect and summarize timekeeping information, review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheetsEnter time by project, by cost code, by classification code into ERP systemAssist with the administration of the electronic timekeeping systemMonitor submissions of approved timesheets, ensure valid data transfers to/from payrollObtain supervisory approval of timecard discrepancies as neededProcess garnishment requestsProcess employee loans and paybacksAssist with Certified Payroll ReportingAssist with the management of all field employee filesAssist Director of Field Operations as required with the hiring-in/termination process.Adherence to policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulationsPerform additional tasks as assigned by Payroll Manager or which are logically inherent to this position.All other duties as assignedExperience, EducationAccounting Degree or equivalent work experience demonstrating success in similar roles2 or more years experience in payroll processing procedures.Union Payroll experience and understanding of union contracts is desiredHigh degree of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office proficiencyAbility to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and demandsExcellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to learn quicklyMathematical and logical skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Knowledge of accounting principles, business practices.Familiarity with Accounting Software.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and/or within a teamOrganizational skills.Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsERMCO, Inc BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionPTOBasic Life InsuranceSTD, LTD, Voluntary Life401kESOP!!
