🚀 Senior / Staff Software Engineer – FinTech Infrastructure📍 New York / San Francisco preferred🌎 US-based opportunity💼 Full-time | Senior IC roleKTS is supporting a fast-growing Series A FinTech infrastructure business that is building global payments and payout systems at serious scale.This is a hands-on Staff Engineer role for someone who has built scalable production systems, enjoys working in high-ownership environments, and wants to have a real impact on architecture, product direction and technical execution.You’ll be joining a small, highly capable engineering team where the focus is still very much individual contribution building, shipping, reviewing technical work, improving systems and helping raise the bar across the team.What we’re looking for:✅ 7+ years’ experience building scalable production systems✅ Strong backend engineering experience✅ Experience designing systems for high throughput, large data volumes or transaction-heavy environments✅ Track record of launching and iterating on complex software products✅ Strong system design and engineering judgement✅ Comfortable moving quickly in an early-stage / high-growth environment✅ Open to being hands-on rather than moving into pure managementBonus points for:⭐ FinTech, payments, banking, finance or marketplace experience⭐ Python, React, AWS, ECS or Kubernetes experience⭐ Background from high-growth startups or strong engineering cultures⭐ Experience with payments, payouts, ledgers, fraud, compliance or money movement systemsThis is a great fit for engineers from FinTech, payments, marketplace platforms, traditional finance engineering teams or fast-growing startups who want to help build critical infrastructure at scale.If you’re a senior IC engineer who enjoys ownership, ambiguity and solving hard backend problems, I’d be keen to speak.
