Lead Operator

POSITION: Lead Operator JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lead Operator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: Machine Set-up Scray Capstan Edge guides Flame treater Slitter section Corona treater Rewind Web Path WSB resin blending system Extruder Coordinate and assist crew during both running and down times Plan and execute change overs efficiently. Report non-conformances and/or difficulties to Supervisor Ensure quality of product. Responsible for the actions of the crew. Complete Process Variable section in the production run accurately and timely And any and all other tasks as assigned. EXCEPTIONS: When the line is not running, (this includes machine down time and change overs, among other times) the Lead Operator and Operator will direct helpers as to what they should be doing. TOOLS: Assigned locks for lock out tag out program, razor knife with safety blade, tape measure, pen, paper and tools provided for the machine and heat gloves .
