Summary
First Coast Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for its Clay County office.
The certified medical assistant helps patients by providing clinical assistance in the office including, but not limited to the below responsibilities and duties.
Responsibilities
Oversees and ensures efficient turnover of exam rooms.*
Maintains exam rooms in a neat and clean manner.*
Complies with patient needs at all times.*
Escorts patients from waiting room to examination rooms.*
Removes dressings and provides patients with gowns as necessary.*
Ensures patient charts contain all pertinent information prior to patient visit.*
Assists physicians with injections, aspirations, and/or other procedures as necessary.*
Instructs patients regarding information needed once they leave the office to include use of braces or crutches, medical usage, and home exercise programs.*
Applies knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations.*
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Place home sleep devices, holters, MCT’s and educate the patients on how it works.
