Pediatrician (MD/DO) - Outpatient Clinic | Full-Time | Sacramento, CA Competitive Base pay + Sign-on Bonus A mission-driven outpatient community health clinic is hiring a Pediatrician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive pediatric primary care for patients from birth through age 19. This is a great opportunity for a physician who enjoys outpatient medicine, teamwork, and making a direct impact in an underserved community. Key Responsibilities • Provide outpatient pediatric care including well-child visits, sick visits, preventive care, and chronic disease management • Conduct exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans • Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests • Prescribe medications and therapies according to clinical guidelines • Provide patient and parent education and ensure follow-up care • Respond to patient messages and review clinical reports in a timely manner • Work collaboratively with medical and support staff • Maintain quality and productivity standards Required Qualifications • MD or DO (U.S. accredited or FMG with ECFMG/Fifth Pathway certification) • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics • Active, unrestricted California medical license • Active DEA registration • Current CPR certification Preferred • Outpatient pediatrics experience (community health/FQHC experience preferred) • Familiarity with quality measures (HEDIS, HRSA, PCMH) • Bilingual skills are a plus (not required) Benefits (Highlights) • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Retirement plan with employer match • Paid time off + paid holidays • CME reimbursement + CME paid time • Malpractice and tail coverage • Tuition reimbursement (based on eligibility)
