ETP Specialist

The Opportunity:The Exchange Traded Fund Specialist (“ETF Specialist”) will work in a small client-oriented institutional trading operation that services the primary market (i.e. no retail). The primary responsibilities are to receive, review, and authorize institutional orders while also performing daily reconciliations and reporting. The individual in this position will assist the ETF Operations team with the facilitation of Authorized Participant (“AP”) Agreements, attend fund related meetings, and assist with reporting and metrics.What you’ll do:Receive, review, and authorize institutional orders.Perform daily reconciliations of clients’ orders by policies and procedures.Facilitate AP AgreementsAttend meetings with clients and other service providersProduce internal and external reporting and metricsDisseminate fund corporate action notifications to APsAssist with other assigned projectsTo qualify for the role, you must have:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in securities and security markets, investment operations, and/or financial client experienceFINRA Series 7 and 63 licenseIdeally, you’ll also have:Major or concentration in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, or equivalent experienceTrading experience in stocks, bonds, commodities, and/or ETFsSkills and attributes for success:Demonstrated professional integrityDependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needsAbility to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significanceAbility to work in a fast-paced, small team environment Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clientsHighly motivated and goal-oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks.Dedicated to upholding ACA’s high-quality standards and customer service focusStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detailStrong oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working in a tech-enabled environmentWhat working at ACA offers:We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
