Job SummaryRaycap, Inc. is looking for a Freight & Logistics Manager to join our team! Based out of the Post Falls, ID. facility, the Freight & Logistics Manager will manage our inbound transportation and logistics activities, focusing on achieving cost effective, timely material deliveries to our facilities.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the logistical transportation planning activities to include road, air, and sea for materialsThorough understanding and management of Incoterms to help ensure smooth transactionsEnsure regulatory compliance and management of all necessary documentation associated with the transportation of goods across international borders; experience in navigating the customs process to ensure on time delivery of productsManage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers, including performance, service levels, and rate negotiationsFocus on freight cost optimization by reviewing and analyzing possible transportation consolidations, routes, and modes while maintaining adherence to service levelsMaintain accurate logistics documentation and support audits related to freight and trade complianceJob QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field5+ years applicable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of incoterms, international shipping, and customs import/export requirementsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentClear written and verbal communication skillsWhy Choose Us?Raycap, Inc. has decades of experience creating products that protect and support the world's most valuable assets from power and lightning surges.
