We are a 5 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area.Job SummaryLeonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Senior Programs Analyst. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work an in person or hybrid schedule. This position will be responsible for supporting the Program Manager and leading sub-projects for a major Department of War (DoW) Production, Hardware development and Software Development contracts. The position will require schedule, cost, risk and opportunities management for the contract. This position will entail action item tracking, meeting minute development, and presentation creation. This position may require the individual to run small sub-projects with an integrated project team (IPT) requiring them to monitor schedule, cost and performance on their own. This position will require 25-30% travel. Individual will be working in a non-classified and classified environment and must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop schedules on their own via Microsoft Project and utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel to analyze budgetary informationLead the generation of Supplier Statements of Work and refining Customer Statement of Work as needed based on analysis of contract requirements and feedback from the Integrated Product Team IPT).Lead major coordination efforts within an integrated product team (IPT) for complex delivery schedulesConsult with management and customers on modifications for optimum schedulesCoordinate and monitor budgets across the program to ensure control account managers are executing to budget Participate in vendor/supplier quality and test evaluations on siteProvide expertise on proposals to identify most appropriate methods to meet project requirements outlined in the Statement of WorkAssist and Lead Proposal efforts for new and follow on businessProvide mentorship and coaching to lower level employeesSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management or related or an equivalent combination of education and experience8+ years of directly related experience supporting technical programs spanning production support, hardware development, and/or software developmentExperience coordinating day-to-day execution across engineering (HW and SW), manufacturing/production, quality, supply chain, test, and field supportExperience building and maintaining integrated schedules in Microsoft Project (dependencies, critical path, baselines, status cadence)Experience in Microsoft Office Suite- Excel and Power point skillsExperience working with a Integrated Product Team (IPT)Ability to interpret cost data and track budget to actualsAbility to lead the team in absence of Program Manager and drive sub-projects within the task orderAbility to travel 25-30% of the timeRisk and opportunities management experienceExposure and work in Department of War (DoW) contracts is desired U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.The salary range for this position is $93,121.00/year- $125,713.00/year for the state of Illinois. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
