Job DescriptionJob TitleAutomotive Body Interior EngineerOverview / SummaryThe Applications Engineer – Body Interior will provide onsite product development support, focusing on improving quality and first-time-through performance. This role involves resolving engineering issues, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production and design improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and resolve engineering issues related to body interior systems (trim, instrument panel, seats, console, headliner, NVH components, carpet, etc.)Provide on-site support to troubleshoot production issues and drive first-time-through improvementsLead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actionsPerform data analysis using Excel and other tools to identify trends and develop solutionsSupport validation testing, issue tracking, and release activitiesCollaborate with suppliers, design engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust designs and high-quality buildsSupport quality systems including DFMEA, PFMEA, and control plansRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experienceStrong analytical skillsWhat Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your FutureHTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
