A New York City health services network is seeking a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Urology Department at one of its ambulatory care facilities in Brooklyn.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: 9am to 5pm (35-hour weeks; 1-hour unpaid lunch)Setting: Urology DepartmentResponsibilities:Completing patient intake and mixing medicationsAnswering nursing phones and scheduling follow-up appointmentsTaking vital signs and assisting with proceduresUsing EMR systems and performing patient care-related tasksMaintaining a clean and safe patient environmentPerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:2 years of Nursing experienceGraduation from an approved Practical Nursing programNYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Solid assessment and documentation skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsStrong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Qualifications:1 year of experience working within an Ambulatory Health facilityBachelor's Degree in NursingBilingualBCLS certificationEKG certificationKnowledge of Next Generation software
