Bartender On-Call
Bartender On-CallBartender duties are mixing and serving drink orders of patrons at the bar.Essential duties and responsibilities include stocking coolers and freezers with beer, beverages and other drinks as the need arises, taking and preparing drink orders of the Cocktail Servers as necessary, entering all comp transactions into the computer for proper departmental charging, selling and making change for patrons playing the machines on the bar, serving the comp-ed drink to the patrons playing, wiping the bar and removing the trash as necessary, checking and changing the kegs and CO2 pumps, liquor bottles, etc. as the need arises, keeping the general cleanliness of the bar area at all times, assisting the Bartender in preparing and selling hot dogs, stocking the needed supplies and condiments on the bar, and performing other duties as may be assigned.Supervisory responsibilities are not applicable.Qualifications include being knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations, being minimum 21 years of age, possessing excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate in English effectively, having previous cash handling experience preferred, being able to withstand prolonged standing, bending, walking, kneeling and lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 lbs. without restrictions, and working area is usually exposed to noise, dust and cigarette smoke.Education and/or experience include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), minimum of 6 months bartending experience or graduate from a Bartending School.Certificates, licenses, registrations include obtaining a Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Card and Non-Gaming Card.Language skills include effectively communicating in English, bilingual in Spanish is a plus (not required).Mathematical skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Computer skills include having Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
