With AI, remote work, and digital transformation accelerating, now is the time to build your future with LINX.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstall, terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with industry standards.Build, install, and maintain MDFs and IDFs, including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware, while troubleshooting low voltage cable systems.Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, termination, and testing in accordance with BICSI standards, NEC, and local regulations to ensure safety and compliance.Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism and strong communication skills to resolve technical issues and provide solutions.Ensure high-quality, organized, and professional workmanship on all installations to meet project specifications and exceed customer expectations.Travel to job sites anywhere within your state, may also be required to travel within the USAMinimum RequirementsTech 1: Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools; ability to lift/carry/setup a 50 pound box or ladderMust own low voltage tools (snips, strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches)Able to work 2nd/3rd shift, overtime, and under pressure.Must pass a 7-year background check, drug screen, and physical.Requires valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insuranceCommercial construction experience preferredProfessional working proficiency in EnglishPreferred Experience (not required)BICSI Technician or Installation CertificationPowder Actuated Tools CertificationConfined Space CertificationCPR and First Aid certifiedManufacturers certifications for Installation and MaintenanceHigh School DiplomaPay Rate:Tech 1: $20.00 - $22.00/hourTeamLinx Offers Great Benefits Including:401K with 50% employer match up to first 5%Insurance options including Medical plans with Flexible Spending and/or Health Savings Accounts, Disability, Dental and Vision8 Paid Holidays3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) combining sick pay and vacation daysCareer growth opportunitiesThis is an evergreen posting and applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis as hiring needs arise.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in the workplace.
