This role requires strong attention to detail, disciplined documentation practices, and the ability to quickly identify and escalate quality issues. The position also supports document control processes and contributes to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment.Job DescriptionPerform inspections on raw materials and in-process products using IQA tools and equipment to verify quality standardsAccurately record inspection results in digital systems, ensuring high levels of data integrity and traceabilityIdentify, segregate, and return non-conforming materials to appropriate personnel in a timely mannerMonitor product quality issues and promptly escalate concerns to the Quality Team LeaderSupport document control activities, including reviewing, correcting, and maintaining properly formatted recordsAssist users with document control systems, ensuring adherence to strict formatting and compliance standardsMaintain and update quality records while managing high volumes of data with accuracyFollow and actively support 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to ensure a clean and organized workspaceAdhere to safety protocols when moving between office and production environmentsPerform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by the Quality Team Leader S kills Required Experience performing inspections on raw materials or in-process products using quality tools (IQA or similar)Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect defects and inconsistenciesProven ability to handle non-conforming materials and follow proper escalation proceduresComfortable with computer systems, data entry, and maintaining accurate digital quality recordsFamiliarity with document control systems and the importance of formatting and complianceBasic English reading and writing skillsKnowledge of electronic and/or mechanical components and material characteristicsUnderstanding of basic manufacturing processes and quality standardsStrong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accuracy under high-volume workloadsDemonstrated ability to learn new inspection processes or systems quickly and effectivelyQuality-focused mindset with a strong sense of accountabilityAbility to make decisions on when to resolve issues independently vs. escalateStrong communication skills, particularly when reporting quality concernsCommitment to maintaining strict attendance and reliability in a production-driven environmentAwareness of workplace safety and ability to identify potential hazardsHigh level of precision and hand-eye coordination for detailed inspection tasksAbility to perform repetitive tasks including keyboarding and inspection workFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of both light and heavy objects (over and under 10 lbs)Ability to crouch, climb, and move safely within a manufacturing environmentSustained visual concentration on small components, screens, and numerical data for extended periodsStrong hand-eye coordination for precise inspection and data entry tasks Education Highschool diploma or GED Pay Rate $23.10 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
