In this role, you'll ensure components meet engineering and quality standards through precise inspection and documentation. You'll play a key role in maintaining product integrity and supporting warehouse operations, with additional responsibilities in first article inspections (FAI) and cross-departmental support.ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections using MicroVu vision system, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement toolsExamine materials and products for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and short shotsMeasure and electronically record dimensional data to ensure compliance with part specificationsCompare products against engineering prints and documented standardsCommunicate inspection status to Tooling, Molding, and Quality teamsGenerate quality advisement documentation and reports for QA Engineers or SupervisorReport findings via email and follow up on stock dispositionCollaborate with warehouse personnel to place approved components into inventoryPerform calibration and maintenance of inspection equipmentReject defective parts and document defect types on containers or inspection tagsAssist in root cause investigations using molding process data and written standardsProvide support to assembly, molding, kitting, warehouse, or other departments as neededPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor (written or verbal)Must HavesOne-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3-6 months of related experience/trainingAbility to read and interpret detailed part and assembly printsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and OutlookStrong communication skills and follow-through on assigned tasksNice to Haves* Associate's degree in engineering or science* Experience with MicroVu or other precision measurement equipmentWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly compensation with shift differentialComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plansPaid time off and holidays to support work-life balance401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matchA collaborative, hands-on work environmentOpportunities for cross-training and advancementInclusive workplace with reasonable accommodations for qualified individualsUS Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
