Job Overview - Medical Assistant:Join our client's expanding healthcare team as a Medical Assistant in New York! You will play a crucial role in patient care, providing both direct and phone support, ensuring effective coordination with the care team, and assisting with clinical procedures.Compensation: $21/hourLocation: New York, NYSchedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to FridayResponsibilities as the Medical Assistant:Patient Care: Provide care to patients and their significant others through direct interaction and telephone contact. Coordination: Work with other members of the care team to ensure seamless and coordinated care delivery. Clinical Assistance: Assist physicians or other providers with various clinical procedures. Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:Education: High school diploma or equivalent (graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred). Experience: 1+ years of Clinical experience in a Medical Office, Clinic, or Hospital setting. Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
