Construction Project Administrator

*Position Overview:* The Construction Project Administrator oversees all administrative functions of specific construction projects. The position is responsible for ensuring all proper documentation is completed and submitted, and acts as a point of contact for the project team by facilitating all communications. *Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* * Maintains accurate documentation for construction project scope and scheduling. * Analyzes bids, performs bid leveling, and scope definition review. * Facilitates bidding process with subcontractors by following up on bids, and coordinates any changes as needed. * Schedules and coordinates meetings with subcontractors and vendors, and assists in follow-up for requests of information. * Creates written daily logs of construction project progress by performing site inspections. * Coordinates with accounting team to ensure project is on timeline and budget, and advises management if any issues occur. * Works in conjunction with Project Manager to communicate details of project with all stakeholders. * Collects and maintains updated insurance information for all subcontractors and vendors. * Maintains a safe working environment by overseeing project safety awareness. * Administrative tasks include project invoice collection, project invoice submission, project bank draw preparation, project photography * Any other duties as assigned by management on an “as needed” basis. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience * Experience with construction industry and working knowledge of construction budgets, AIA's, and scheduling strongly preferred, but not required. * Must have strong problem-solving skills with an ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. * Proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Appfolio, and Sage required. * Must have valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, and car insurance in good standing Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Construction: 1 year (Required) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Required) Work Location: In person
