Senior Program Manager - Process Transformation (Third-Party Risk & Vendor Onboarding)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager - Process Transformation to lead the design, alignment, and pilot implementation of a future-state third-party diligence and vendor onboarding operating model within a large enterprise environment.
This role will serve as the central coordinator across Legal, Procurement, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, Data Governance, Vendor Management, and business stakeholders to transform how third-party engagements are reviewed, approved, contracted, and governed.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader with a proven track record of driving large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives, facilitating executive governance forums, and building consensus across complex stakeholder groups. This individual will be responsible for developing governance structures, defining operating models, streamlining cross-functional processes, and ensuring successful execution of program objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Governance
Lead the overall transformation initiative and serve as the primary program manager.
Develop and manage program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, and communication plans.
Establish and operationalize a cross-functional governance framework.
Facilitate executive steering committee meetings, governance councils, and working sessions.
Define roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation procedures.
Build accountability structures that support process performance and continuous improvement.
Operating Model & Process Transformation
Analyze current-state processes and design future-state operating models.
Document workflows, governance structures, and business processes.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize cross-functional operations.
Drive alignment across business units and support organizational change initiatives.
Coordinate pilot programs and measure outcomes against established success criteria.
Vendor Onboarding & Contracting Optimization
Partner with Legal and Procurement teams to improve third-party onboarding and contracting processes.
Support development of standardized contract templates, NDA guidance, and approval workflows.
Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and improve consistency across vendor engagements.
Ensure alignment with enterprise risk management and governance requirements.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
Establish service-level expectations and performance metrics.
Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards, and operational KPIs.
Monitor cycle times, stakeholder feedback, process bottlenecks, and rework trends.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights.
Present recommendations and progress updates to executive stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, Vendor Management, Data Governance, and business teams.
Drive consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities.
Facilitate working sessions and decision-making discussions.
Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, status reports, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Program Management, Business Transformation, Operating Model Design, Process Improvement, or Enterprise Change Management.
Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within Fortune 500 or similarly complex organizations.
Experience facilitating executive steering committees, governance councils, and stakeholder forums.
Strong stakeholder management and consensus-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority.
Experience designing and implementing business processes across multiple functional areas.
Excellent organizational, planning, risk management, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Management, Supplier Governance, Procurement Operations, Legal Operations, Compliance, or Risk Management.
Experience supporting Legal, Procurement, Security, Privacy, Compliance, or Data Governance organizations.
Knowledge of governance frameworks, operating models, and risk-based review processes.
Experience leading process simplification, operational excellence, and cycle-time reduction initiatives.
Background in management consulting or enterprise transformation programs.
PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, or similar certification preferred.
