Job Title: Prevailing Wage Compliance AdministratorCompensation: $60,000 – $65,000 annuallyLocation: Centennial, CO Position Overview An established organization is seeking a detail-oriented Prevailing Wage Compliance Administrator to oversee payroll compliance coordination across active construction projects. This position will focus on tracking project documentation, supporting subcontractor communication, and ensuring payroll reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and can effectively manage multiple moving pieces while partnering with operations, payroll teams, and subcontractors. This role is instrumental in maintaining compliance standards and helping projects run efficiently from kickoff through completion. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate project startup activities and maintain accurate records related to contracts, mobilization timelines, scope changes, and wage determinations.Communicate directly with subcontractors to collect payroll documentation and support onboarding for compliance reporting systems.Monitor weekly payroll submissions and follow up on missing items, flagged reports, and unresolved compliance issues.Work closely with internal payroll and operations teams to address outstanding project-specific payroll matters.Create and update process documentation and workflow procedures to improve compliance consistency and reporting accuracy.Upload and maintain payroll records, apprenticeship documentation, and required information within compliance portals and reporting systems.Provide support to subcontractors by answering questions related to payroll reporting processes and escalating complex issues when needed.Prepare and analyze tracking reports using Excel to monitor compliance activity and project progress.Assist with internal audits, year-end reporting tasks, and additional administrative projects related to payroll compliance.Contribute to ongoing operational improvements and support additional team initiatives as assigned. Qualifications At least 2 years of administrative or compliance-related experience in a deadline-driven environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of detailed information.Experience reviewing reports and maintaining accurate records with minimal oversight.Knowledge of prevailing wage compliance processes is highly preferred.Excellent communication and follow-up skills when working with internal teams and external partners.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data management systems. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting construction, contracting, or project-based operations.Familiarity with certified payroll software or compliance tracking platforms.Experience working with subcontractor documentation and onboarding processes.
