Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Support cardiac surgical teams as a skilled CVOR Tech in a dynamic operating room setting. Key Responsibilities: Function effectively as a surgical team member under RN supervision during surgeries. Specialize in cardiac open heart procedures and provide support in diverse OR cases. Assist with patient care across all age groups, maintaining sterility and safety standards. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care delivery. Maintain accurate records and support documentation processes as needed. Qualifications and Experience: Required: Cardiac surgical experience, including one year scrubbing CVOR/Open Heart or two years acute care scrubbing. Current certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon. Completion of accredited surgical technology education or equivalent military/public health service training. Certification by NBSTSA or recent graduation from CAAHEP/ABHES accredited programs. Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Ability to complete 16 hours of continuing education every two years relevant to surgical technology. Preferred: Experience or training in computer applications.
