Laser/Punch Machine Operator

This is a great opportunity to join a stable operation that invests in high quality equipment and takes pride in its work environment.Position SummaryWe are seeking a 2nd shift Laser / Punch Operator to run a combo machine capable of both punching and laser cutting. This role is ideal for someone with a background in sheet metal fabrication who is comfortable working from blueprints and takes pride in producing quality parts. The team is open to training on either punch or laser, depending on your existing experience, but you'll need experience in one of these.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate punch press and laser cutting equipment for sheet metal fabricationRun a combo machine that performs both punching and laser cuttingRead and interpret blueprints and work instructionsPerform basic machine adjustments and ensure parts meet quality standardsInspect finished parts for accuracy and consistencyMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork closely with team members to keep production running smoothlyQualificationsExperience in sheet metal fabricationHands on experience with punch or laser equipment (experience with both is a big plus)Ability to read and interpret blueprintsStrong attention to detail and qualityExperience in aerospace or AS9100 environments is a plusFamiliarity with GD&T is a plusExperience with Trumpf brand machines are a big plusWhy This OpportunityFamily owned company with a strong team cultureClean, organized shop with modern equipment including Trumpf machinesUpward mobility and growthEmployee benefits are completely covered!Consistent 4 day work week on 2nd shift
