Weekend Female Direct Care Worker

Faithful Home Care Solutions, LLC - Faithful Home Care Solutions is seeking experienced female caregivers who are reliable, compassionate, and available to work weekend shifts in the KOP area, including day and overnight coverage on Saturday and overnight on Sunday.This role is ideal for caregivers who prefer longer shifts with fewer working days, providing consistent, high-quality care to clients.Position OverviewThe Direct Care Worker is responsible for providing comprehensive, non-medical personal care services to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), safety monitoring, companionship, and accurate documentation.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, and hygiene maintenanceSupport activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, feeding assistance, ambulation, positioning, and transfersUtilize proper safety techniques and equipment (including Hoyer lift use as needed)Provide companionship and emotional supportSupport client independence according to the care planMaintain a safe and clean environmentFollow standard precautions and infection control proceduresMaintain strict client confidentialityCommunicate effectively with family members and the care teamAdhere to agency policies, professional standards, and state regulationsShift RequirementsSaturday: Day shift & overnight shift available | 7 am - 7 pm | 7 pm - 7 amSunday: Overnight shift only | 7 pm - 7 amQualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or GED preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectivelyExperience:Minimum of 1 year related caregiving experience preferredExperience with Hoyer lift transfers requiredExperience with incontinence care requiredLicensure & Requirements:Valid driver's licenseReliable, insured transportationSatisfactory background checkProfessional referencesBenefitsCompetitive payPaid overtimeMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for full-time employeesOngoing trainingSupportive office teamEmployee & client referral bonusesAbout Faithful Home Care SolutionsFaithful Home Care Solutions is a licensed, Medicaid-certified, non-medical home care agency based in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
