Apply via Dice today!Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider, is seeking a skilled AWS Cloud and Snowflake Administrator with additional expertise in MLOps and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, data warehousing, machine learning operations, and automation practices.This position is a Hybrid, 4+ month contract (with the possibility to extend). If this sounds interesting to you, we would like to hear from you!Responsibilities for AWS/Snowflake administrator:Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and Snowflake data warehouse environmentsImplement and maintain AWS IAM security policies and best practicesConduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage patching processesDesign and implement MLOps pipelines for efficient model development, deployment, and monitoringDevelop automation scripts and workflows to streamline cloud operations and data processesTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues in AWS, Snowflake, and ML environmentsCollaborate with data scientists and engineers to improve ML model deployment and performanceDevelop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans Qualifications/Requirements for AWS/Snowflake administrator:Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Administrator and Snowflake AdministratorIn-depth knowledge of AWS services, especially IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, and SageMakerStrong understanding of Snowflake architecture and administrationExpertise in AWS security best practices and compliance standardsExperience in vulnerability management and patching in cloud environmentsProficiency in MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Amazon SageMaker)Strong automation skills using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI)Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Snowflake SnowPro Core)**We are unable to accommodate corp. to corp. candidates**About Motus Recruiting and Staffing, Inc:Founded in 2006, Motus is an award-winning recruiting and staffing firm in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in professional services and technology solutions.
