Phlebotomist - VHCMG, Old Town

Purpose & ScopeThe Phlebotomist-VHCMG performs phlebotomy and general lab-related duties within the medical practice setting. The position also includes administrative and practice support tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with point-of-care (POC) testing, excellent communication skills. While staff is assigned a home site, they may be requested provide coverage at other office sites if needed.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.ExperienceOne year of healthcare/ medical - phlebotomy experience is required.Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program is preferred.One Year Of Hospital Experience Is Preferred.Computer experience is preferred.Certification/LicensurePhlebotomy certification (CPT or equivalent) is preferred.
