Job Description ****MUST HAVE CARDIOLOGY ORINTERNAL MEDICINE EXPERIENCE****THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!Seeking Energetic, dependable, mature- minded Medical Assistant to join our family at a fast paced Cardiology office in Melbourne, FL.Position requires a highly motivated, attention to detail, team player attitude working within a clinical setting that balances outstanding customer service and excellent patient care.Candidate must possess above average organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, be focused amidst distractions with excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ideal candidate must be a fast learner, hardworking, must be able to take initiative with tasks, work individually without supervision and possess knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.****MUST HAVE CARDIOLOGY ORINTERNAL MEDICINE EXPERIENCE****THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!Duties :Prepare Exam and treatment roomsRoom and Triage patientsPerform EKG, Holter monitoringChart medical history accurately into EMRInstruct patients on pre-op and post-op carePatient educationAssist physician as needed with proceduresAssist physician with prescription refillsProfessionally handle patient phone calls for multi-line telephonesAssist with scheduling tests and procedure and prescription authorizationONLY QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS NEED APPLY!Must have at least 2-3 YEARS CARDIOLOGY OR INTERNAL MEDICINE medical assistance experience with preference given to applicants with EMR – E Clinicals.If you do not meet requirements, please do not apply.
