This individual will be responsible for preparing and setting upthe airline trays with the appropriate sandwiches, fruits, salads, etc. Thisperson may also be involved with slicing and cutting fruits, vegetables, andother foods. If you show capability and leadership ability, there are manyopportunities to move up within the company. Preparing cold dishes, salads, sandwiches, anddesserts. Responsible for ensuring that all dishes areprepared according to Newrest's recipes and standards. Proper handling techniques to ensure that thefood is fresh, safe, and of high quality. Perform proper food packaging and storing basedon safety requirements and customer instructions. Follow all process control documentation. Employees must wash their hands. Every time thatreturns to the production department. And at least every hour. Report any unsanitary practices and unsafeconditions. Follow all food safety, health and safety,company rules and standards. Must work stand during their shift. Regular and timely attendance is expected forthe position. Other job duties may be assigned based onoperational needs.Education/Experience Requirements High School Diploma required. At least one year working in a food productionenvironment Must display proficient knife skills andtechniques Must be comfortable working in a coldenvironment. Must be able to stand for long periods. Ability to handle pressure in a fast-pacedenvironment. Good work ethic and communication Good knowledge of HACCP and food safetystandards.Physical EnvironmentThe physical demands described here represent those that anemployee must meet to perform the essential responsibilities of this jobsuccessfully.
