The individual must have strong industry knowledge of best practices and installation standards consistent with the manufactures specifications. Must be proficient in identifying, pulling, labeling, and terminating a variety of structured cables and supporting structures.Responsibilities And DutiesRequired to identify, pull, and label Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A copper and fiber optic cablesInstall support structures such as J-hooks, support rings, cable slings, and cable trays/ladder racksAbility to work in an industrial plant environmentFamiliar with EIA/TIA standardsExposure to closet dressing, termination of closet equipment, and multi-pair color code terminationsTermination experience with multi-pair standard cable and experience with both ends of basic level testing as well as high-level testing and documentationAbility to read blueprints, identify cable paths, and have some experience with site surveysDemonstrates understanding of all field safety requirements and understanding of use and function of all required personal protective equipmentQualificationsMust have good communication skills to interface directly with customersMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be able to pass a hair drug testMust be able to pass a background checkTWIC card is requiredFiber and Rigid conduit experience a plusBenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision/Life401K with company matchingPaid Time OffPowered by JazzHR
