Driver Manager

Help lead drivers, support operations, and keep safety at the center of everything you do.We are looking for a Driver Manager to support terminal operations by managing and developing drivers, promoting safe and compliant operations, and helping maintain strong service performance across the fleet.This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build relationships while holding drivers accountable to company standards and expectations.What you'll doTrain and counsel drivers on safety, hours of service requirements, fuel compliance, excessive idling, and company policies and proceduresUse company tools to perform periodic driver reviewsMonitor and manage driver productivityMaintain proactive communication with dispatch centersManage on-time service performance of the terminal fleetSupport company goals related to driver retentionPromote and maintain a strong commitment to safety in daily operationsCoordinate and ensure drivers remain current on DOT, OSHA, and company training requirementsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policiesAssist with onboarding and training of new employeesPerform other duties as assigned by managementWhat we're looking for Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to motivate, coach, and effectively manage driversAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and follow-through skillsCommitment to safety, compliance, and operational performanceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPreferred qualifications Knowledge of DOT and federal regulationsTanker industry experience preferredExperience in transportation, operations, dispatch, or driver management environments preferredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeLeadership responsibilityThis position supervises drivers at the assigned terminal location.Work environment and physical requirementsThis position works primarily in an indoor office environment.
