Maintenance/ Production Mechanic

Maintenance/Production Mechanic (all shifts) Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Maintain and trouble shoot high speed PC basedproduction machinery that is used to process mail Create and perform orsubcontract to perform a preventative machinery maintenance programEnsure that all equipment is functioning at its\' highest level ofefficiency Maintain inventory of machine parts Negotiate with outsidevendors to keep costs down Perform minor physical plant maintenanceduties where feasible Perform related duties as assigned by supervisorAct as the company\'s Safety Officer Maintain compliance with allCompany Policies And Procedures Education And/or Work ExperienceRequirements: Electro-mechanical background helpful Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills, including ability to effectivelycommunicate with internal and external customers Computer proficiency(MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressureand meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providingexemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carryout assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given,prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices High school diplomaor GED required or Trade School Associate degree preferred PhysicalRequirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essentialjob functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state andlocal standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitativeproductivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendanceconsistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, local standards Mustbe able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Must be able to talk, listen andspeak clearly on telephone and in person \$35-\$65K depending onexperience.
