When you work with Carroll Daniel you will feel important to us, because you are.Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY This leadership role assumes the overall vision responsibility of working with stakeholders within the firm to oversee the planning, strategizing and deployment of project schedules as well as managing outside scheduling consultants.Position ResponsibilitiesThis is a working Department Head Position. Additional resources will be added upon need.Work with the project team to create a high-level master schedule that incorporates the initial CPM scheduleDevelop and train Lean Construction Scheduling Techniques such as Pull PlanningTrack critical activities and changes to the critical path impacting the projectUtilize industry accepted methodologies to analyze delaysProvide information on items impacting the project scheduleResponsible for spotting the critical path, as well as proffering alternatives to regain slippage to the scheduleWalk project sites and be able to update schedule and challenge the project team with project actual statusDocument changes integrated into the project scheduleProvide a summary and report on project progressSpot project risks and include impact analysis for review by project teamResponsible for maintaining current and standardized job filesResponsible for continuous internal and external sales of Building Information Modeling Develop and drive standards, processes & proceduresDevelop and conduct training for Field Operations Provide high level status of all projects in the companyPerform miscellaneous duties as assigned.QualificationsREQUIRED CAPABILITIESScheduling Manager SpecificStrong P6 and Microsoft Planner skillsTeam orientedStrong Computer SkillsEnjoys training othersProblem SolvingResults DrivenEstablishes PrioritiesFlexible and AdaptableExcellent Communication Skills Technology Savvy Decision Making/JudgementDetail Oriented Customer FocusResolving ConflictListen, Watch, LearnInnovative/Solutions OrientedWORKING CONDITIONSTypically work in an office setting but also spends time at job sites. Education & Experience10+ years of experience in the Building Design & Construction industry, applying Scheduling processes on a range of projects.Current Management experience is a plus but not a must.Bachelor's Degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, or other related would be beneficialExperience in construction means and methods especially on a range of project size and complexity.Demonstrated abilities and relative experience in preconstruction, field management and construction processes.Must have credibility and drive; be a self-motivator that can get things done.Must be able to apply management skills to reach a consensus from a variety of differing opinions to produce a common thought.Must be a good communicator, well spoken with the ability to express themselves in written form as well.Must be an effective trainer.Attention to detail and can create and document processes and procedures.
