Job Title: Mechanical Engineer I Job Location: Florence, SC Job Duration: 12 Months Summary: This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide design and support for the *** Gen3 products. The position will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems, while working to meet agreed upon cost , reliability, and schedule commitments. Job Responsibilities: Typical responsibilities include structural analysis, design, implementation, and testing of a wide range of elevator components. The candidate should have a strong mechanical engineering background with experience working in a cross functional team environment. Skills: Sound mechanical engineering background (mechanical and system modeling and design, component modeling and design) Creo / Pro Engineer Mechanical structural analysis with Ansys or other FEA Software Design documentation with Mathcad Hands-on testing experience Strong communications and leadership ability Experience with test and measurement equipment Elevator systems knowledge preferred but not required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software Summary: This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide design and support for the *** Gen3 products.
