Hampton Inn & Suites Minot Airport, is looking for a top-performing Hotel Chief Engineer or Hotel Maintenance Technician.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Minot's Hotel Chief Engineer or Hotel Maintenance Technician's primary responsibilities include general maintenance and upkeep of all hotel facilities, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment, and following energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs. The Hotel Chief Engineer or Hotel Maintenance Technician will supervise all engineering and maintenance operations and personnel, following company and brand standards, to maintain the highest maintenance and guest satisfaction levels.
Located off Highway 83, we're less than a mile from Minot International Airport and Minot State University. In just two miles, discover local attractions like Roosevelt Park Zoo and Scandinavian Heritage Park. Trinity Hospital is four minutes away, while Minot Air Force Base is 22 minutes from us.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for Hotel Chief Engineer or Hotel Maintenance Technician include:
Develop, implement, and effectively manage the department budget, capital expenditures, and engineering-related objectives.
Hire, train, schedule, and manage maintenance staff
Ensure a safe environment that protects the assets, guests, and all hotel associates
Develop, implement & direct all Emergency programs.
Ensure all equipment is maintained
Conduct inspections & drills, and ensure compliance with all codes and regulations
Requirements for Hotel Chief Engineer or Hotel Maintenance Technician include:
High school diploma or equivalent GED
Exceptional follow-through; strong organizational skills, and time management skills required
3-5 years of hotel or building maintenance or engineering experience required
Property maintenance certifications preferred
Able to obtain and/or maintain any government-required licenses, certificates, or permits
When required, be available at the hotel during bad weather conditions
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
Ability to stand during the entire shift
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
