CategoryResource and Budget ManagementJob LocationREMOTE, USTracking CodeCMA 4855-585Position TypeFull-Time/RegularCALIBRE Systems inc., an Employee owned Mangement Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a Cost Analyst to work as part of a team that analyzes data involved in the tracking of fielded Army weapons and materiel systems and developing operating and support costs for systems to be used in the Army cost analysis and budgeting processes. The Analyst will participate in data collection, modeling, analysis and product generation. Organize and translate data into useful automated information. Conduct analyses including defining parameters of requested data output and analysis. Assist in preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation deliverables. The ideal candidate should be able to learn and provide input on how to create new sources of data-driven innovation through technology and analytics that would add value for our customers.Candidate must be passionate about helping others solve problems, gain insights, and make decisions using data. They will display deep technical knowledge and be able to communicate it to a wide-ranging audience.Required SkillsMust have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) Must have or able to obtain and maintain a security+ certification Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skillsPassion for solving problems with data and a high level of curiosityExperience with data cleaning, model testing, results presentation and documentationAbility in one or more programming languages for data analysis Experience using SQL Experience developing forecasting modelsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be a lifelong learner, willing to share and grow their knowledge and of those around them Train on software and reporting systems. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on a fast-paced projectSupport requirements and metrics development, definition, data quality assessment, and strategic analysis. Collect and analyze data to produce forecasts, assessments, recommendations, and reports. Role may include serving as a subject matter resource on project, updating project databases, and researching/analyzing program management matters. PreferredExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or QLIKExperience in budgeting or cost-analysisKnowledge and understanding of the Army’s PPBE processExperience with Army Acquisition costing and enterprise dataRequired ExperienceBS/BA in related degree such as Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, etc. (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted)Minimum of 2 years professional work experience providing data analysis or cost analysis services.
