Position Overview The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving digital applications based on company requirements. This individual will work closely with leadership and internal teams to transform concepts and business needs into functional technology solutions. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys hands-on application development, problem solving, and using both traditional development tools and emerging AI-powered platforms to create practical digital solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain web-based and mobile applications that support Genius Visionary's products, services, and internal initiatives. Build application prototypes and digital solutions using development frameworks, AI-powered tools, and low-code/no-code platforms. Use platforms such as Base44 and Lovable to create, test, and refine application concepts. Translate business requirements into functional application features and improvements. Collaborate with internal teams to gather application needs, provide technical input, and deliver development solutions. Test applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns. Troubleshoot application issues and implement improvements when needed. Support application updates, feature enhancements, and ongoing maintenance. Assist with connecting applications to third-party tools, APIs, databases, and business platforms. Maintain clear documentation of application features, updates, and development work completed. Research emerging development tools and technologies that may improve application development processes. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Two or more years of experience developing applications, websites, software solutions, or digital products. Experience with application development languages, frameworks, or platforms such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, Flutter, Python, or similar technologies. Experience using AI-powered development platforms, including Base44 and Lovable, is required. Understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and application development processes. Ability to create responsive, user-friendly digital experiences. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage assigned development projects independently in a remote environment. Experience with Git, version control systems, or collaborative development tools is preferred. Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, digital products, and emerging technology solutions is highly desirable.
