Plant Controller

Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Plant Controller and play a key role in driving financial performance and operational excellence across our manufacturing facility. This position blends hands-on cost accounting, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to support business unit goals.What You Will DoMaintain and optimize the plant’s cost accounting system and controlsAnalyze sales, cost of sales, labor, product costing, and inventory variancesLead weekly financial forecasting and monthly reconciliationsCoordinate physical inventories and analyze results across departments and global vendorsPrepare journal entries and manage standard costing, labor rates, and overhead allocationsConduct variance analysis and partner with teams to resolve cost discrepanciesLead annual operating and capital budget preparationManage a Staff Accountant, providing guidance, support and development opportunitiesInterface daily with manufacturing and planning teams to improve inventory controlEnsure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley procedures and support quarterly testingDeliver accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reportingWhat We Are Looking ForBachelor’s Degree in Accounting5–7 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in interpreting operational documents and applying statistical analysisExperience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus
