Geospatial Systems Specialist

About the Role We are seeking a Geospatial Systems Specialist to bridge the gap between complex spatial data and field operations. You will empower construction teams by deploying mobile GIS solutions and providing hands-on training, ensuring that critical project data is accessible and actionable in the field. Responsibilities Configure and deploy ArcGIS Field Maps to streamline data collection and visualization for active construction projects. Deliver comprehensive training sessions to non-technical staff, ensuring high adoption rates of mobile geospatial tools. Perform routine data review and quality edits within ArcGIS Pro to maintain the integrity of project databases. Collaborate with engineering teams to translate project requirements into intuitive, field-ready mapping applications. Provide ongoing technical support to resolve geospatial challenges encountered by site personnel. Travel to various project sites to observe workflows and identify opportunities for spatial data optimization. Qualifications Required Skills Proficiency in the ESRI ecosystem, specifically ArcGIS Field Maps and ArcGIS Pro. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on user experience and field efficiency. Ability to travel to job sites as needed to support operations. Preferred Skills Prior experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience managing workflows within ArcGIS Enterprise. Proven track record of developing clear technical documentation and training materials. Background in spatial data management or related technical training roles.
