We have an exciting opportunity to work on-site in our Irvine Office for a Project Manager.The Project Manager is a critical team position that manages multiple concurrent program timelines and ensures internal teams are executing project details on schedule. This position works with all disciplines on projects to include Creative/Design, Engineering, Hong Kong, Logistics, Account Service, and Product Safety/Quality.Additional responsibilities include:Using Smartsheet creates and publishes master schedule for all assigned projects. Assigns and tracks all tasks and milestones related to the scheduleIssues Purchase Orders on all assigned programs. Approves vendor invoices reconciling against PO's for accurate billingCollaborates with project team (Hong Kong, Product Safety/Quality, Account, Creative/Design, Engineering, Logistics, Finance) on milestone objectives and timeline adherence creating action plans on missed dates and making changes to the schedule as necessaryAnticipates problems and works with internal team on problem solving to ensure on-time deliveryLeads regular production meetings providing project and critical milestone updatesWorks toward project team building and maintains good relationships with all team members while neutrally balancing all competing project interests to ensure that projects complete on-time, on-budget, on-spec and within all required safety parametersProvides a fair and full accounting of project details for assigned programs, tracks major schedule KPIs.Strottman CultureWorking for Strottman is more than just a job, it's a career. So, if you are ready to work for a positive, high-energy team read on.Requirements for the position:Bachelors in related field and 5+ years' experience working in a consumer products company, preferably in toysExperience in project management where organizational abilities, process adherence, problem solving and attention to detail are criticalExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage critical timelinesExcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interface at all levels of the organization including Asia office. Must have the ability to influence team members to actionMust be a self-starter with a positive demeanor that enjoys working with a high functioning teamHas a competent understanding of production lifecycle and the ability to multitask with multiple programs at various stages of developmentExperience using MS office with an emphasis on Excel proficiency; knowledge of Smartsheet prefe
