Senior Electrical Engineer

Position OverviewThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Bethesda, Maryland office. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, conducting power distribution and system analyses and ensuring project compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Key tasks include collaborating with multidisciplinary BIM teams, preparing detailed electrical and power system designs, conducting feasibility studies, managing project timelines and overseeing installation processes. The engineer will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.QualificationsProficiency in Electrical Design and in-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering principlesComprehensive understanding of Power Distribution and Power SystemsStrong expertise in the application of electrical engineering to various fields such as residential and commercial building designBachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Preferred)Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCADRelevant industry certifications and/or professional licenses (PE preferred)Strong knowledge of lighting, lighting controls and grounding and performance of load analyses, feasibility studies and cost analysisKnowledge of energy-efficient design and adherence to sustainability standards such as LEED is a plusExceptional problem-solving and project management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams
