Graduate Assistant for Men's and Women's Swim and Dive

DescriptionResponsibilities:• Follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA, CCIW, Carroll University, and Athletic Department policies and procedures including the Athletic Personnel Code of Conduct• Assist the head coach in planning, coordinating, and directing practice and training sessions• Recruit prospective student-athletes and use Front Rush software• Supervise academic study hall sessions and other team events as assigned• Assist with sport camps and clinics throughout the year• Assist the strength and conditioning coordinator with implementation of program• Assist with home meet logistics, event set-up and breakdown, and meet management• Assist with coordination of team travel and meals for away meets• Assist with pool management, scheduling and supervision of lifeguards• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Director of AthleticsQualifications:• Maintain full time status in an eligible Carroll University graduate program• Additional approval is required for entrance in graduate programs outside of Education• Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.Education and/or Experience:• Bachelor's degree required• Previous experience in coaching preferred• Participation in a college level swimming and diving program preferredHuman Relation Skills:• Ability to function effectively as a team player within the program and athletics department.• Ability to conduct self in a productive, professional manner at all times, representing Carroll University at the highest level as a role model and mentor for our student athletes.• A working knowledge of Microsoft word, publisher, excel, and related computer applications vital to organizational skills that ensure success in our program.• Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type.• Excellent communication skills as they relate to recruiting, working with parents, alumni, and current student athletes.Special Requirements:
