Systems Security Officer
DUTIESOversee and verify security posture and policy for various projects including working directly with Admins and DevOps to ensure environments are appropriately securedDevelop information security artifacts for Federal government programs at the low- and moderate-level security categorizationsReviews and analyzes information system audit records weekly for indications of violations and report any findings to designated authorityResponsible for reviewing security alerts, advisories, and directives as they are released and work with system owners, administrators, etc. to inform and implement as necessary to the affected systemsTrack and report level of compliance for Information SystemsReview and analyze information system audit records weekly for indications of inappropriate or unusual activity and reports findings to appropriate management and technical personnelReceive information system security alerts, advisories, and directives from designated external organizations on an ongoing basisGenerate internal security alerts, advisories, and directives as deemed necessary and disseminate security alerts, advisories, and directives to appropriate management and technical personnelImplement security directives in accordance with established time framesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of relevant experience.Information Assurance, Information security policies and procedures.Skilled in Windows and Linux, Group Policy, WSUS, BMC Remedy, Tenable Products, OAWSP ZAP or Burp SuiteVulnerability assessment, standard on-premises environments and cloud infrastructureATO packages, and emerging standardsFamiliarity with DevOps CI/CDCertification in CISSPHendall Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
