Electrical Signing Supervisor (Construction - Permitting)Portland, OR areaSummary:We are looking for an accomplished Electrical resource to support client responsibilities related to supervising and coordinating electrical activities engaged in construction, maintenance, and repair of electric power, lighting, and communication systems of plant buildings. This individual will provide subject matter expertise related to the electrical field and advise on issues related to code requirements and impacts.Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for sign off of permits and ensuring all electrical installations meet minimum safety standards.Ensure proper electrical safety procedures are used; all electrical labels and permits required to perform electrical work are used and signed; and electricians have proper licenses for the work performed.Comply with corrective notices issued by the inspecting authority.Position Requirements and Qualifications:10+ years of relevant experience supporting construction and industrial environments.Experience signing electrical permits ensuring all installations meet minimum safety standards; proper electrical safety procedures are used; persons performing electrical work are properly licensed; and corrections issued by the inspecting jurisdiction are completed in a timely manner.Education:Must be licensed as a Journeyman Electrician with a Signing Supervisor License in the state of Oregon or reciprocal state.
