Facilities Support ServicesTraveler AccommodationWarehousing and StorageOther Residential Care FacilitiesComputer Systems Design and Related ServicesJob Title and ClassificationFacilities and Business Services Analyst – Analyst II (JC-516637)Salary: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month (New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum of the classification or alternate range)Location: Sacramento, CA – required to work in office five days a week (Monday-Friday)Job SummaryAnalyst II will manage and analyze the California Department of Aging's asset and property management program, ensuring accurate lifecycle tracking, compliance with the State Administrative Manual (SAM) and Department of General Services (DGS) requirements, and audit-ready documentation. The analyst will evaluate operational data, vendor performance, and facility needs to support decision-making, improve processes, and maintain service continuity. Additional oversight responsibilities include contracts, facility operations, and specialized programs such as fleet, telecommunications, and asset receiving.ResponsibilitiesManage and analyze the department's asset and property management program.Ensure lifecycle tracking and audit-ready documentation.Maintain compliance with SAM and DGS requirements.Evaluate operational data, vendor performance, and facility needs.Support decision-making and process improvements.Oversee contracts, facility operations, and specialized programs (fleet, telecommunications, asset receiving).Minimum QualificationsExperience managing property programs, including inventory tracking, tagging, reconciliation, and equipment lifecycle management.Knowledge of State property processes, including SAM, DGS guidelines, and the use of Property Survey (STD 152) and Property Transfer (STD 158) documentation.Ability to conduct physical inventories and prepare documentation compliant with SAM and federal property management laws.Experience supporting facility operations, including space planning, office moves, and managing space reservation systems.Ability to identify building maintenance or safety issues, prepare reports, and coordinate vendor services.Preferred (Desirable) QualificationsExperience managing state fleet programs, including WEX fuel card management, mileage reporting, and compliance with DGS/OFAM requirements.Experience reviewing and approving telecommunications invoices and managing service request processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and enterprise databases or inventory management systems (e.g., OFAM).Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues across facilities, inventory, telecom, and fleet.Ability to interpret complex regulations, communicate requirements effectively to staff and vendors, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe State of California is an equal opportunity employer to all, regardless of age, ancestry, color, disability, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, and other protected characteristics.J-18808-Ljbffr
