In this role, you'll collaborate with a world-class group of engineers who are driving innovation in next-generation audio amplifier solutions for automotive applications.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct engineering support to customers to ensure the successful integration and optimization of Cirrus Logic's advanced audio amplifier solutions.Support the design and review of customer's PCB schematics and layoutsConduct customer-application focused circuit analysis and data collectionTravel to customer sites to support design-in and debug activitiesLead the design of the customer development boards for new audio productsDevelop product collateral such as application notes, reference designs and demosCommunicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams during the product development. This includes working with IC Design engineers, Systems engineers, Validation engineers, Test Engineers, Software engineers, and othersSupport the Marketing and Sales teams during the product promotions and conferencesCollaborate with the Systems team on the definition of new products and featuresLead technical trainings for customer and field teamsAutonomously handle and prioritize tasks with strong sense of ownership and high sense of urgencyRequired Skills and QualificationsBS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of Applications or Systems Engineering experience supporting audio productsExperience with audio amplifiers and power electronicsProven experience debugging customer system level issuesStrong hands-on experience analyzing and evaluating audio products with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, Audio Precision analyzers, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzersExperience with PCB schematic and layout design, including component selectionDemonstrated aptitude in understanding of various industry interface standards such as I2C, SPI, I2S or high speed control/data busFamiliarity with scripting/programming language such as Python or similarStrong ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writingEffective interpersonal skillsPreferred Skills and QualificationsExperience with automotive standards (e.g., AEC-Q100, ISO 11452, ISO 26262, ISO 7637, ISO 16750)Extensive experience debugging hardware and software issuesProficient in writing MATLAB and Python scriptsUnderstand audio signal processing algorithms and techniquesExperience with audio analysis software, MATLAB, and/or Excel mathematical analysisExperience working with cross functional teams and customerPassion for Audio technologyProven experience working in a fast paced environment#LI-CC1#LI-HybridExport control restrictions based upon applicable laws and regulations would prohibit candidates who are nationals of certain embargoed countries from working in this position without Cirrus Logic first obtaining an export license.
