You'll be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components to spec, keeping production moving while making sure every part meets our quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine OperationOperate and monitor CNC machinery (mills, lathes) for production runsAdjust machine settings and tool offsets to maintain part qualityPerform basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues as neededQuality & InspectionInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gaugesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructionsEnsure all parts meet dimensional and visual standardsMaintenance & DocumentationPerform routine machine maintenance and cleaningAccurately complete work orders, inspection records, and production reportsFollow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediatelyTeam CollaborationCommunicate with team members and supervisors on production statusParticipate in continuous improvement effortsSupport other departments/production areas as neededQualifications1+ years of CNC machine operation experience preferred (will train the right candidate)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsBasic knowledge of machining processes and materialsComfortable using precision measuring toolsGood math and mechanical aptitudeAble to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail; able to work independentlyPersonal AttributesDependable, with a strong sense of urgency and pride in workmanshipTeam player with good communication skillsEager to learn and growSafety-conscious and able to work in a fast-paced environmentBenefits401(k)Paid time off (PTO)On-the-job trainingEducation: High school diploma required; further education a plusBenefits:401(k) matchingOn-the-job trainingPaid time offPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
