Job Description Job Description HVAC & Facilities Maintenance Tucson, AZ 85747 $30.00-$45.00/hr Position Overview We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation work on HVAC and building mechanical systems. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in commercial HVAC, facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, building automation systems, refrigeration, mechanical systems, or related trades. Candidates with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are encouraged to apply. Qualifications Required Valid Driver's License Experience servicing, maintaining, or repairing commercial HVAC systems Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Basic electrical troubleshooting experience Ability to safely use hand and power tools Preferred Experience with refrigeration and HVAC control systems Universal EPA Certification Experience using building automation systems (BAS) Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and plumbing blueprints Experience working with motors, belts, bearings, air handling units (AHUs), and VAV systems Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480 volts Experience using laptops and software-based diagnostic tools Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair HVAC and environmental control systems in commercial and industrial facilities Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, inspecting, and adjusting equipment Troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and control system issues Diagnose and repair electrical components including controls, contactors, fuses, relays, and associated equipment Install, connect, and repair refrigerant piping using brazing, soldering, ProPress, and related methods Inspect systems for leaks and perform repairs as necessary Troubleshoot and maintain air handling units (AHUs), VAV systems, motors, belts, bearings, and related equipment Utilize computerized building automation and control systems to diagnose and correct operational issues Perform minor insulation repairs and general facility maintenance as needed Assist with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance projects Maintain a safe work environment and complete assigned documentation
