Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Painter based in Rock Tavern, NY. The Automotive Painter will prepare surfaces, mix and apply paint, and finish custom-designed projects with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities include priming, sanding, masking, and ensuring quality control in line with company standards. Working closely with the production and design teams, the role requires adherence to safety protocols and maintenance of painting equipment. Qualifications Proficiency in surface preparation, including priming, sanding, and masking, to ensure impeccable paint applicationSkills in mixing and applying paint with various techniques, including spray painting and other specialized finishesKeen attention to detail and ability to achieve high-quality finishes and color matchingExperience with painting tools, equipment maintenance, and knowledge of safe practices in automotive paint applicationsAbility to follow specifications, work independently, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary teamPrevious experience in automotive painting or similar roles is highly preferredRelevant certifications in automotive painting or surface finishing are a plusStrong communication skills and a commitment to meeting project deadlines efficiently
