Full Stack Java Developer Job at a Glance Title: Full Stack Java Developer Location: Pittsburgh, PA (preferred, 5 days onsite), Strongsville, Ohio Contract: W2 only, 6-12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or OpenKyber Pay: $60/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match Overview This position involves Java design and development with Spring Boot and microservices, database design, SQL development, and UNIX design and development. The role requires modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance. Candidates will design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes, evaluate hardware-software interfaces, develop specifications, and resolve customer issues. Key Responsibilities Java design & development with Spring boot and micro services Database design SQL development UNIX design and development Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures Required Skills Java full stack Springboot Microservices SQL OCP Open/Closed Principle UNIX Flex Skills: Quartz Soft Skills: Adaptability, Strong communication written and verbal, Proactive Required Education No Education Requirements Preferred Skills Nice To Have: Quartz Why Should I Apply?
